ABOUT
神奈川県藤沢市を中心に活動を続けるBig Band 藤沢スイングジャズソサエティです。
1989年(平成元年)12月 現在のリーダー、深谷政巳により結成。
1999年 1stCD 「The 10th Anniversary」リリース
2001年 44th Montery Jazz Festival（カリフォルニア州）に出演
2003年 2ndCD ｢The Modernism」リリース
2004年、2007年 Bill Watrous 氏と共演
ゲストミュージシャンを迎えての年1回の単独ライブの他、
横濱ジャズプロムナード、Jazz in 鎌倉、湘南の熱風等各種イヴェントなどの他，
他バンドとのジョイントライブ等積極的に取り組んでおります。
2009年 第20回記念リサイタルのゲストとして Randy Brecker 氏を単独で招聘。12/1～12/7までの滞在中，４バンドとの共演ツアーを実施
2010年 第130回 Jazz In 鎌倉 （鎌倉芸術館） 阿川泰子さんの伴奏をさせて頂きました。
2014年 3rdCD ｢Dear Lars」リリース
2019年 第30回記念リサイタルはジャズトランペット界のRegend 日野皓正氏にお願い致しました。
2022年 第3回湘南ふじさわジャズミーティングにて再度日野皓正さんと共演させて頂きました。この日出演されていた松島 啓之さんも飛び入り参加して下さり、盛り上がりました!!
2023年 4thCD 「Ancient Wind」レコーディング
90年代に活躍し、そのサウンドは今も決して色褪せない
内山 有希夫氏率いるMusic Magic Orchestraが演奏した
作品と新たにアレンジ提供頂いたボーカルナンバーで
レコーディング致しました。

Profile
A non-professional big band founded in 1989.The members' occupations vary, but most of us engage in businesses not related to music.
The band performs mainly in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture,occasionally in other areas as well, such as Yokohama and Tokyo. The performances include its annual recital, the concerts organized by the Kanagawa Big Band League and some other musical events sponsored by local communities.
In 1999, we released our first CD. In 2001, the band performed at the 44th annual Monterey Jazz Festival,
the world famous jazz festival held in Monterey, California.
